OUR STORYAscénto, formerly HPGM, has spent 25 years creating connections and opportunities for Latino professionals across Wisconsin. Our story began in 2001, when a group of Latino professionals in Milwaukee saw a need for greater representation, opportunity, and community. They created HPGM, a professional network that grew into a place where Latino professionals could find one another, grow together, and build influence. Today, Ascénto serves more than 6,300 professionals and students annually, works alongside 100+ partners, and has invested more than $1 million in scholarships since 2004. Through it all, the corazón of our work has remained the same: increasing economic prosperity and growing Latino influence for a stronger Wisconsin. Now, we're building on that legacy as Ascénto, expanding our reach across Wisconsin and creating more opportunities for Latino professionals and students to connect, grow, and lead.
