In partnership with the Greater Milwaukee Foundation, HPGM launched the Board Pipeline Initiative in December of 2016. Each small group training covers aspects of board service including legal, financial, fundraising, and strategic planning. Participants have the opportunity to network with representatives from community organizations looking for qualified, diverse candidates to serve on their committees and boards.

"The guest speakers were very resourceful and transparent about what it takes to be on a board. I was captured and desired to learn more about the opportunities. I came across an opportunity to be involved in a well-known organization on the south side of the Milwaukee."

"The launch of HPGM's Board Pipeline Initiative couldn't have been better timed for our small, but growing nonprofit. Given that the teens we engage include many in the Latinx community, we wanted to make sure our board represented this community as well. As a result of the program, we were able to recruit a new board director."
