Friday, April 5, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Northwestern Mutual (805 E Mason St., Milwaukee, WI 53202)

Parking is available in the 7SEVENTY7 building (777 N Van Buren St) for approximately $12 for the day. Please allow for an extra 15-20 minutes to park, walk, go through security and check-in. 

 

HPGM's first-ever Latino Prosperity Summit will include sessions to ignite your personal and business goals, and invite in new possibilities. Together we will explore what prosperity means to us. Intentionally held during Financial Literacy Month, the Summit will elevate the wealth building conversations beyond only budgeting and credit, and highlight the mindset and tools necessary to define and build prosperity as Latinos in Wisconsin.
Dive into sessions about venture capital, real estate, the financial savvy they don’t teach you in school, our cultural relationship with finances, and more! 
This summit is sure to spark new ideas on how to build a thriving life as a Latino in Wisconsin. No matter what career stage or industry you are in, you will walk away with inspiration and new strategies to implement in your life.

The panelists will be asked to share their definition of prosperity and their vision for creating greater prosperity for the fastest growing ethnic group in our state… Latinos!

This conversation will explore themes of education, economic development, community building, philanthropy, and family, and how they contribute to the upward mobility of Latinos in Wisconsin.

Together we will learn about the experiences of Latinos in venture capital (VC), learn from leading mujeres in the industry, and discover opportunities to leverage venture capital as a wealth building tool.

During this Venture Capital Charla, Jennifer Abele, VC 414 Founder and Managing Partner, and Adela Cepeda, Angeles Investors Board Chair, will get candid about their journey to helping undercapitalized founders grow their businesses and become investors.

Jennifer and Adela will start with an overview of VC basics, and then dive into strategies that they are implementing across the country to make VC accessible to both underrepresented founders and investors.
