Francesca Mayca Wegner - Francesca Mayca Wegner is a movement leader who dreams big and finds joy in helping others step into their power. She is the proud daughter of a Peruvian immigrant mother, an older sister, wife, and animal lover. Serving as President and Chief Possibilities Officer for HPGM, Francesca fiercely champions the creation and cultivation of brave spaces where all can feel valued and that they belong. Francesca joined HPGM in April 2021 after serving as Senior Director of Development and Communications for Sojourner Family Peace Center. Prior to Sojourner, she held various roles in Marquette University’s advancement department after starting her career in sales with the Milwaukee Bucks. Galy Montes & Nataly Andrade Sánchez - Galy and Nataly are the co-founders of Mercadera, a community established to support, connect and empower Latinas in Wisconsin. Nataly is also the Director of Hispanics for School Choice, a non-profit organization that promotes educational freedom in the state of Wisconsin. Her expertise and passion lies in providing organizational support to the Hispanic community. Galy is also owner of Paleteria Yayo, a family business that sells wholesale Mexican popsicles in the heart of Milwaukee's south side. In 2022, Galy was recognized as one of Wisconsin's 46 most influential Latino Leaders. Both have recognized there is a need to provide a safe space for women in our community and were recently awarded the Poderosa Award by the Wisconsin Latino Chamber of Commerce for their dedicated passion with the community, leadership and impact with Latina owned businesses. Mariyam Nayeri - Mariyam Nayeri, founder of Vibrant Vida Wellness, is a proud Chicana and Persian woman, Milwaukee daughter, and mama of two, who is passionate about empowering others to live their most vibrant and full lives. She is an accredited Integrative Nutrition Health Coach who endeavors to guide others to find peace and wisdom within their own bodies, fully attuned to their own infinite potential and intuition. Movement, food and the creation of community are powerful medicines that light her soul on fire, and where she finds the most vibrant and connected version of herself. She wholeheartedly shares this passion with others through weekly yoga and cooking classes in Milwaukee, creating spaces that facilitate connection, alignment and joy. Her connection to food, music and movement stems from a childhood spent in her grandmother’s kitchen learning how to make tortillas, singing along to rancheras, dancing often and laughing loudly. She has produced numerous events, workshops and markets in Brooklyn, New York and Milwaukee that center wellness, community, and minority entrepreneurs.
